Strategy + Heart for the Work That Matters Most

We love supporting nonprofits and mission-driven brands that are out there doing good. Whether it’s elevating your message, helping you reach more donors, or simply creating a professional presence that reflects your values — we’re here to bring strategy and heart to your mission.

Our goal is to help you show up online in a way that feels true to who you are and powerful enough to support the impact you’re here to make.

What These Projects Typically Need

We know nonprofits have big missions — and often small teams. That’s why we focus on building digital tools that are strategic, easy to manage, and rooted in real connection.

These brands often come to us needing:

  • A website that’s easy to navigate and update
  • Clear messaging that connects with donors, clients, and volunteers
  • Professional branding that still feels approachable and mission-aligned
  • A digital space that reflects the impact of their work
  • Services that are budget friendly
  • Services that can work easily into their grant programs

Featured Organizations

  • Creek Valley Health Clinic

    The Organization:

    • Creek Valley Health Clinic is a rural Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services to its community.

    The Situation

    • What began as a need for social media management quickly evolved into a full-scale marketing partnership. Creek Valley needed consistent, reliable support across multiple areas — from design and print to digital strategy and grant-funded community health education.

    The Solution

    • We stepped in as Creek Valley’s full-service, in-house marketing team — managing everything from social media and website updates to printed materials, paid advertising, and grant deliverables. Our goal: support their mission by handling every marketing and communications need with clarity and care.

  • Volunteer Sedona

    The Organization:

    • Volunteer Sedona & the Verde Valley connects locals and visitors with meaningful ways to give back. As the region’s hub for volunteerism, they support nonprofits, municipalities, and community causes through strategic service opportunities.

    The Situation

    • Volunteer Sedona needed immediate support with their website and social media. Their existing tools were outdated, hard to use, and not effectively serving their growing community of volunteers.

    The Solution

    • We designed a custom 7+ page website with a volunteer calendar, event system, and integrated forms — plus fresh copy, visual design, and social media support. The result was a professional, user-friendly platform that truly reflects their mission and drives engagement.

Why We Love Nonprofits

Working with nonprofits gives us a chance to blend strategy with purpose. These projects aren’t just about pretty logos — they’re about telling important stories, elevating causes, and helping leaders like you make real impact online.

We’re honored to help mission-driven teams build the digital presence they need to grow, fundraise, and serve — with clarity and confidence. We also offer a 15% discount to nonprofits to support their missions.

Heart & Strategy is also honored to be a grant consortium member for multiple clients. We have worked directly with grant-funded programs and have experience in grant reporting.

You ever open Instagram, stare at the “Create Post” screen, and suddenly forget how to type? Or worse—you write a full caption and delete the whole thing because it sounds weird, boring, or like… not even you? Yeah. Been there. Multiple times. And listen, if you’re feeling stuck or like you’ve already said everything there is to say—this post is for you. Because spoiler alert: you’re not out of ideas. You just need a little structure (and a lil bestie pep talk). Let’s get you out of your own head and back into your power, shall we?

Let’s just call it like it is: Posting consistently is exhausting when you're also running a business, managing clients, trying to drink enough water, AND maybe remembering to call your mom back. So if content creation has felt like one big “ugh, I should be posting but I can’t even with life right now” moment—I see you. The truth is, consistency doesn’t mean constantly . And you don’t need to be glued to your phone, cranking out content 24/7 to grow your business online. You just need a plan that actually fits your life —even on the weeks when your energy is at “girl, I’m surviving off caffeine and vibes” level. So pour a lukewarm coffee (because let’s be real, that’s what we’re working with), and let’s break down how to stay consistent… the lazy girl way.

You ever meet someone online and think, “Omg I LOVE their vibe”… and then you realize you have no idea what they actually do? Or worse—you do know what they offer, but their whole online presence gives “meh” energy instead of “YES, I need this in my life” energy? Yeah. That disconnect? That’s a brand vibe problem, and… it’s more common than you think. Because here’s the truth no one tells you: Your vibe is doing the talking before your content even kicks in . People feel your brand before they read your captions. Your visuals, your voice, your presence—it’s all part of the story. If your brand feels off, unclear, or kind of vanilla, that’s the message your audience is picking up on. And if you’re like, “Wait. Is my brand giving off the wrong vibe??” Keep reading. I’ve got you. 💛

Let’s talk about that moment when you’re staring at a blank Google Doc, sipping your iced coffee, whispering “what the actual heck am I supposed to post today?” 😩 I’ve been there. And not just once. I used to spiral into overthinking mode, creating 17 different drafts of captions that all felt kinda… meh. Too boring. Too vague. Too “what’s the point?” And let’s be real—when your content doesn’t have strategy behind it, you end up burnt out, inconsistent, and wondering why no one’s buying from you. But once I ditched the fluff and started creating content rooted in how people actually make decisions ? Everything changed. More engagement. More leads. More “OMG I feel like you’re in my head” DMs. And today, I’m giving you a peek behind the curtain—because this isn’t just my content strategy… it’s one you can steal and start using today.

A few years ago, I was sitting at my kitchen table with my laptop, a -empty cup of coffee, and a to-do list that felt longer than my toddler’s bedtime routine. I was an entrepreneur — a real one now, with actual paying clients and a brand I was building from scratch. But there was one problem: I was exhausted . I had started my business because I was passionate about what I offered — but somehow, I’d ended up drowning in everything except the work I loved. Writing Instagram captions at midnight. Googling “how to build a sales funnel” while making lunch. Stressing over why my website wasn’t converting (after spending way too much time and money on it). It felt like I had to be the CEO and the marketer and the creative director and the entire social media department — all at once. And the loneliest part? I had no one to bounce ideas off of. No one to say, “Here’s what works — do this instead.” No one to remind me that I wasn’t actually failing, I just needed a strategy.

You started this thing because you had a passion — maybe you’re a creative, a coach, a consultant, a product genius. And now you’re supposed to also be a marketing expert? It’s a lot. Suddenly, you’re spending hours trying to figure out Instagram’s algorithm, Googling “how to write a sales page,” and wondering why your website isn’t bringing in leads. That’s exactly where Heart & Strategy comes in. We’re not just another agency pushing packages you don’t need. We’re built by an entrepreneur — for entrepreneurs. Because we know what it’s like to be where you are right now.

Nonprofits are driven by purpose, passion, and impact—but too often, their marketing strategy doesn’t reflect that. Many organizations pour time and effort into fundraising, programs, and community outreach, yet struggle to gain the visibility and engagement they need. So what’s missing? The answer is simple: Strategic storytelling in grassroots marketing. In this post, we’ll break down why these two elements are crucial and how your nonprofit can use them effectively.
